addedUI Development is becoming a real nightmare, but apparently we're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Here we go with another patch! Not many new features, but a few improvements:
addedUINEW SETTINGS - Some of you lamented the lack of resolution and display mode selection. That was fair and deserved, it sucked hard. So I implemented a brand new Settings Menu, with more features, including said options: resolution, display mode, camera axis invert options. I'm still not fully satisfied with the UI Art, but that's what I came up with for now. Steam post imageSteam post image
fixedUINEW UI NAVIGATION - UI navigation was a real mess and it has been for some time. After some screams at the screen, the UI Navigation System is (apparently) fully fixed. Will it keep being that way? Only time will tell.
addedGRAPHICSNew Outline Effect - I finally managed to pull of an outline shader the way I wanted it, resambling the effect of old cartoons. At this point the outline has been removed from the environments and has been left only on characters and animated objects. This makes a lot more sense now.
addedGRAPHICSUI Recolor - I picked a new palette for the UI, more Spanky-ish. Not fully satisfied with it either.
addedGRAPHICSRolling Boulders in level Landslide now have a new model and a face

GRAPHICS

  • New Outline Effect - I finally managed to pull of an outline shader the way I wanted it, resambling the effect of old cartoons. At this point the outline has been removed from the environments and has been left only on characters and animated objects. This makes a lot more sense now.

  • UI Recolor - I picked a new palette for the UI, more Spanky-ish. Not fully satisfied with it either.

  • Rolling Boulders in level Landslide now have a new model and a face

  • New Stretch & Squash Effect on Spanky - A new effect has been added on Spanky's movement. Now a mix of scaling and bone translation is responsible for new "body dynamics" on Spanky's movement. Personally I feel this adds A LOT of juiciness to the game.

    And now for some..
