Spaceborn Awakening changes
This is a quick update to highlight some recent changes to the demo build.
This update includes bug fixes, balancing and also addressing some feedback from players who tried the demo recently!
Gameplay
Added new Critical Mission type called "Surgical Strike" that introduces elite enemies to hunt down and also appear sooner in the timeline so players can gain access to their second weapon faster.
Blast Doors rework: Instead of toggling on/off on a timer, now they activate when the player is close to them and enter a lockdown state where they cannot be interacted again for that duration.
Grenade Launcher is now unlocked by default
Balanced XP Curve to be more generous at early levels
Added Healthbars above important enemies and objectives
Story Mode pacing is now improved and reduced instances were the game paused for dialogue
Camera is now zoomed out by default
General balancing pass on various weapons, enemies and bosses values.
Interface
Added new input reminders at the beginning of the game (will be able to toggle off in through settings in a future patch)
Improved Combat text to be more visible and less intrusive in late game
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue when launching the game for the first time that it defaulted in windowed mode and in the wrong resolution
