changedGreetings everyone! I hope you are having a great day. I have been working hard on some game improvements and updates! The game has been updated to 1.39!!!
addedNow the wormhole has been added to all systems. New wormhole script has been created! Simply fly your ships into the wormhole, and make sure to have some factories! Once you stay in the wormhole, your ships will jump into it and come out in a new system! You can do this infinitely. All objects are now correctly parented under masters and the room is wiped clean on warp. Finally the dreams of taking ships from one system to another is complete!
addedMouse support has been activated again. Now the game will allow the selector to snap to the mouse when a player is clicking a mouse, and will snap to the center when the player is using a controller! Mouse and keyboard controls were in the game first, and have taken a backseat to controller development, but it has been enabled again!
removedZoom IN/OUT Top-down mode has been disabled. Now the zoom zooms in and out rather than up and down.
changedAuto-fight has been updated! Now ships find the enemy that is closest to them instead of random enemies! This makes for a more efficient asteroid clearing and keeps ships together in small groups.
fixedPlayer 1 and 2 now start farther apart. Scale with player 1 and 2 ships has been fixed.

Player 1 and 2 now start farther apart. Scale with player 1 and 2 ships has been fixed.

The match timer now counts hours. The max population has been set back to 30. Fleet management is vital to the game, and you need to delete ships when you are at the max.

Low level ships have had their scale retouched, with level 1 ships being bigger and adjusted. Other small changes were made.

Now all ships are created by code, with no prefabs starting in the scene, with the player ships checking the players race when created. All ships in the game are created at the moment and from a template. Player races are now stored on the player resources script.
