Space Gladiators changes
I noticed that the old arena rewards were almost forcing you into a certain specific playstyle. You'd basically find perks giving you a Heart or a Pet every run even if you didn't like playing with these items.
To fix that, this update adds 26 new perks and the ones relative to specific items will now only appear if you already have said items. It means you won’t find perks giving you a free Heart or a free Pet anymore.
Next updates will be less content-heavy and might take more time to go live. I have quite a bit of back-end work to do before I focus on adding new stuff again: performance optimizations, crash fixes, some tricky suggestions to implement, setting up the game for localization etc.

New stuff
Heavy Weights - perk: The Dumbbell can give up to 18 Strength instead of 12
Electrified Stun - perk: The Stun Device also deals 10 damage
Enhanced Wrench - perk: The Wrench costs 25 coins if you have < 5 Armor
Automatic Broom - perk: The Broom activates itself for free every 5 seconds
Precision - perk: Basic attacks have 15% chance to deal double damage
Adrenaline - perk: +10% damage until you change rooms everytime you get hit (max 50%)
Fakir Training - perk: +20% chance to block trap damage
Arena Fighter - perk: +20% damage in arenas
Insect Killer - perk: Killing critters restores 3x more Energy
Angel - perk: Get 1 additional item in Angel Altars
Demon Hunter - perk: Get 1 free item in Demonic Altars
Leech - perk: Restore 1 HP the first time you hit an enemy every room
Treasure Seeker - perk: Chests give 1 additional item
Enhanced Gear - perk: Gear you find will have better stat modifiers
Addict - perk: Double the effects of future injections
Supplying - perk: Get a random Armor before arenas and bosses
Protective Potato - perk: +10% chance to block incoming damage
Fighting Skills - perk: +20% Attack Speed (3)
Sprint Training - perk: +30% Speed
Portable Coin Forge - perk: +10 Piggy Bank
6 new perks to unlock
The next 6 perks were previously unlocked by finishing the game in max difficulty with every character and are now unlocked from the beginning.
Heroic Aura - perk (Gladiator): +100% Charisma, +20% Negotiation
Thorny Weapon - perk (Patato): +1 Strength for every 5 Thorn points you have
Auto Repair Bots - perk (Robbie): Set your Armor to 3 if you spawn in a room with < 3 Armor
Chest Day - perk (Babouk): You can have 1 additional Max HP
Mutation - perk (Voubi): Your clones deal 50% more damage (1)
Soul Drain - perk (Butcher): Killing an enemy restores 3 Energy (once per room)
Balancing
Climbing Skills is now a Trait and no longer gives Speed.
Mutation: +25% Clone Damage => +50%
Scientist Altar: you can now choose between 3 injections instead of 4
Soul Drain: once per room
Fixes & small tweaks
Arena rewards relating to a specific item will only appear if you have that item. (i.e. Strong Heart will only appear if you have a Heart, Pet Master if you have a pet etc.)
Fixed Voubi’s description in the inventory. (1)
Fixed a bug where Voubi’s clones activated some spike traps. (5)
Coins now go through platforms when attracted by the player. (2)
Armors can no longer give Thorns as modifiers. (4)
Fixed a bug where the Throwing Spear could almost stop in the air if it went through too many enemies.
Fixed some typos.
Critters now also restore Energy in the rooms that introduce zones.
Fixed a bug where clones were dealing too much damage with Yellow Energy Balls.
The “Extra Batteries” perk has been changed to “Stun Bullets”.
Fixed some alignment issues in the inventory screen.
Energy Absorption renamed to Soul Drain.
