addedI hope you're all having a great start to 2025. I've been keeping myself busy since the last patch, mostly focusing on adding controller and steam deck support. I'm very happy to announce that as of today both features are included in the free demo. The game is fully playable (and very fun) on a steam deck, as verified by my personal testing. I have not gotten a "Verified on Deck" badge from Valve yet but I'm hoping once they have time to review the steam deck build this will be added. In addition to controller and deck support I've also made some minor tweaks here and there, including bug fixes, a change to the inventory system, and more. I will include a full list of changes below. As always, if you run into any issues or concerns please feel free to reach out.
addedThe demo is now available for Linux + SteamOS - Steam Deck compatible (no official Valve seal of approval yet) - Full native controller support - Custom modifiable input keybinds - Opening inventory now also shows the character information screen and a new view - Quest reward chests now spawn their loot into the world instead of presenting an inventory screen - Spellbook abilities that used to be dependent on mouse cursor location now no longer rely on a mouse cursor (chain lightning targets a random enemy, and meteor shower falls in front of the player) - Many more
addedOn a personal note, focusing for so long on controller/deck support has me very eager to get back to work on content updates, so expect the next update to be more content focused. Wishing you all the best in the new year.
