SoulBound - Lys Fragments changes
Gear that grows with you, affixes to shape your build, and the Echoes of Lys to push every boss as far as you dare.
This update rebuilds the game's power progression. Instead of gear leveling up on its own, now you decide what to strengthen, personalize it with affixes, and choose how far to push each boss — fully cooperative from start to finish.
⚒️ Equipment Upgrades
Gear no longer scales by itself with difficulty. Now you level up your weapon and gear by spending boss materials — a direct, monster-hunter-style upgrade system.
Each upgrade level raises the item's stats (and your ability damage along with it).
Progression under your control: prioritize the weapon, armor, or accessories that fit your playstyle.
No more "treadmill" — power isn't reset every difficulty tier. What you build, you keep.
✨ Affix System
Reforge your gear at the Forge to roll passive affixes — bonuses that shape your build. Each item gets 1 to 4 slots based on rarity (Uncommon → Legendary), you can lock the good affixes and reroll the rest, and every roll has a quality (%) that sets how strong the bonus is.
Attributes
Vitality — + Max HP
Focus — + Max Mana
Strength — + Attack
Guard — + Physical defense
Aegis — + Magical defense
Resistance — + Elemental resistance
Swiftness — + Movement speed
Combat & Utility
Precision — + Critical chance
Arcane — + Ability damage
Brutality — + Critical damage
Vampirism — Lifesteal on hits
Alacrity — Cooldown reduction
Thrift — Chance to refund mana
Momentum — + Damage at high HP (above 80%)
Vigor — HP regeneration per second
Pyre — Your melee hits apply burn (damage over time)
Stronger affixes require higher-rarity gear to roll — they're build customization and identity, not power-creep: the game stays challenging.
🔥 Echoes of Lys — Mythic Difficulty (NG+)
On each boss briefing you now pick the fight's Mythic LEVEL. Raising the Echo increases the boss's HP and damage — and improves the quality of the materials and items it drops.
A true NG+ system: replay any boss at ever-harder difficulties.
At high Echoes, bosses awaken hidden powers — mythic mechanics borrowed from other bosses keep every fight unpredictable.
The progression chain holds: last Echo's gear is put to the test in the next, pushing you to keep evolving.
🏆 New Hall of Fame
The ranking has been reworked and is now sorted by Echo: clearing at higher Echoes ranks you higher, with completion time as the tiebreaker. Fighting at the edge of difficulty is finally rewarded on the leaderboard.
⚖️ Balancing
Increased starting damage for all classes — the early game feels smoother and more satisfying.
Complete starter kit: on top of a weapon and armor, every character now starts with an amulet and two rings (accessories), tuned to take on the first boss.
Stronger early skills — abilities now hit harder than the basic attack, as they should.
Affixes and Echo curves tuned for challenging, coordinated co-op.
🤝 Co-op & Quality Fixes
Ultimates now show for everyone — the Archer's arrow rain, the Warrior's shockwave, the Mage's cataclysm and the Assassin's blade storm are visible to all players, without multiplying damage.
Mythic LEVEL selection on the briefing now reflects live on everyone's window (fixed in LAN).
"Ready" status on the briefing no longer disappears when reopening the panel.
Fixed starter equipment not being granted when creating a new character.
Removed a visual artifact (square) behind characters in co-op.
Thanks for playing SoulBound — Shards of Lys. See you at the Forge. 🔥
