Greetings, Sorcerers! With patch 0.3.0, we approach the end of Sorcevival. While the initial idea was for patch 0.3 to be the final content patch, the game's conclusion isn't ready yet.

addedWith patch 0.3.0, we approach the end of Sorcevival. While the initial idea was for patch 0.3 to be the final content patch, the game's conclusion isn't ready yet. Access to the end will be unlocked in patch 0.4, which will indeed be the last content update for Sorcevival. When we release version 1.0, no new content will be added, marking the game as complete. It's been a long journey, but everything has an end. In this patch, we've added the final map, The City, where you can face the last remnants of evil. Additionally, there's more secret content we hope you'll be able to discover!

With patch 0.3.0, we approach the end of Sorcevival. While the initial idea was for patch 0.3 to be the final content patch, the game's conclusion isn't ready yet. New Content

  • New Map Added: The City. Enemies specific to this map may resist fire and air, but beware, as you'll start by facing forest enemies, resistant to earth and water.

  • Secret: The Angel will no longer remain silent.

  • New mission added.

Balancing

  • The Vitality upgrade now grants Health per Level instead of flat Health. This upgrade had almost no effect by the end of the game.

  • Maximum number of enemies reduced from 500 to 300. This change shouldn't be too noticeable, as no more than 330 enemies were spawning, except for horde enemies.

  • Some plant enemies now grant less experience.

  • The Divine Cross relic now has a 20% chance to convert an item into wine, instead of 100%.

Miscellaneous and Bug Fixes

  • The Boss Soul image now has an animation.

  • The volume of spells cast by the Familiar has been reduced.

  • Multiple performance improvements have been made.

  • Lightning arcs should now perform better.

  • When an enemy takes multiple damage instances in the same frame, the damage is now displayed as a single number, which should help with performance.

  • Fixed an issue where the Legendary Spell Speed passive would cause a negative cooldown reduction on Dash.

  • Corrected a typo in the Divine Cross description.

  • Fixed a bug that caused some sounds to play simultaneously.
