We’re back again!

Okay so

basically

Online

A much requested feature, Sons of Ra is now finally playable over the internet! It may not look like much here, but full games are supported, along with Steam Invites!

We've also announced our newest Deity:

Sekhmet!

Extremely aggressive, Sekhmet focuses on offensive abilities. Her Ultimate, the Huntress, is a powerful unit that devastates her opponents.

You'll see more of them both in the coming weeks.

Redesign

There's some old artwork that really needed touching up. Our existing keeps (still in progress) were the first to get this treatment and they now have pillars! Our old keeps were designed over two years ago (!!!) so this change was a long time coming.

Conquest

Our single player mode is coming along nicely. To everyone who joked about a Sons of Ra Battle Royale, we actually brought that up during our design meeting, and have started using some ideas from the genre in the most recent update. It’s definitely different, but it’ll make conquest much more interesting to play.
