Soluna Explorers: Tether Curse of Slimus changes
It is a Friday morning and I found a rune word recipe!
While designing the game, since I've made so many abilities (100+ and growing), I placed a system in the engine that will automatically assign new abilities to empty rune scroll combination. There are so many rune word combinations, it excites me when I find one so I'm sharing it.
Among several features I've included at launch, the rune word system is my prized creation.
Rune Word Combination System
Discover and activate powerful abilities by using the correct rune sequences.
Combine specific runes in the correct order, such as Ning + Piag + Che for the High Dagger rune word. to unlock rare abilities through scrolling.
Experimentation and knowledge turn runes into a hidden layer of progression. That being said, rune scrolls tend to have lower raw stats so ideally you would want to scroll out other slots with power scrolls and only using some rune words for abilities in a few. If it is a skill you'd like more, I'd put the rune word on rings or necklaces - since you don't swap those out as often.
This system can be busted, but we will deal with that when that happens.
