addedA new Solarpunk update went live today. This update fixes a savegame issue that caused some players to lose save files or made them unable to load correctly.
changed🌍 Crossplay & UpdatesWe saw that some of you were critical of the crossplay announcement because you mainly want more fixes and improvements. We understand that.
added🌍 Crossplay & UpdatesThe important thing is: crossplay is being worked on in parallel. We are not stopping work on the game. Fixes, improvements, and new content are still being worked on.
added🌍 Crossplay & UpdatesWhile we switch to the new multiplayer system, we simply need to bundle updates more. This may make things look a little quieter from the outside, even though internally we are still working on many things.

To everyone who lost hours of progress because of this: we are truly sorry. This was a really nasty bug and a real beast, but we have hopefully managed to tame it now.

🌍 Crossplay & Updates

We saw that some of you were critical of the crossplay announcement because you mainly want more fixes and improvements. We understand that.

The important thing is: crossplay is being worked on in parallel. We are not stopping work on the game. Fixes, improvements, and new content are still being worked on.

While we switch to the new multiplayer system, we simply need to bundle updates more. This may make things look a little quieter from the outside, even though internally we are still working on many things.

The new system is not only meant to enable crossplay, but also to improve existing multiplayer issues — including cases where Steam players cannot reliably connect to each other.

In short: we are working on crossplay, still fixing issues, and preparing new content.

🗳️ Feature Voting & Roadmap

We also want to remind you about our Feature Voting board:

https://solarpunk.featureupvote.com /

There you can submit feature requests and vote for ideas you would also like to see in Solarpunk.

This helps us a lot to understand which topics really matter to you and which community wishes are especially strong. It also helps us shape the upcoming roadmap better.

Some of the things already requested there were already on our to-do list. So upcoming updates will already include some first items from that list.

What exactly? You will see soon...

💬 Thank you for your feedback

Thank you to everyone who plays Solarpunk, gives feedback, reports bugs, submits ideas, and continues to support us. We know that not everything is perfect, but we keep working to improve Solarpunk step by step.

⭐ Reviews help us a lot

If you enjoy Solarpunk and want to support us, a Steam review helps us enormously.

No pressure — we completely understand if you want to wait. But every honest review helps us make the game more visible and continue working on it.

Thank you. 🌻

A project we like

Before we go, we also want to show you a project from friends of ours. If you like crafting games with wood, furniture, production lines, and a very different kind of chaos, please take a look at:

Chop Chop Inc

If it looks interesting to you, giving it a wishlist or follow would mean a lot to them. Thank you for supporting small indie games.
