changed🚀Kickstarter CampaignIn February we will run a small kickstarter campaign with the goal of raising €500. We want to stress that the game will come out whether the campaign is successful or not. The reason why we want to do a Kickstarter is to gauge the general interest of the game and that we want to give you the opportunity to impact our focus on in the final month of development. The money raised will go to improving the the audio, steam page art and other quality elements of the game.
changed🚀Kickstarter CampaignBackers of the Kickstarter will be able to get the game at a discounted price in addition to other pledge rewards which will be shared when the campaign begins.
changed🚀Kickstarter CampaignWe don't plan to increase the price of the game if any of the Kickstarter stretch goals are reached, so essentially it should be a way for us to give you more value for your money.

Hi Everyone

We're excited to share the roadmap for our new little block-pushing puzzle game SokoGhost: Unfinished Business!

January

🌐Itch.Io Web Demo (Soon)

Within the next couple of days we will launch a web demo on Itch.io. This demo will contain around 20 levels with various mechanics and difficulty. We're starting with Itch, because this is the platform where we had our beginnings and the majority of our game collection. But not long after we will launch the demo on Steam.

🎮Steam Demo (Within 7-10 days)

Around a week after the launch of the demo on Itch.io, it will be available on Steam for download. The exact date is still pending the review and approval process, but we're aiming for it to be available before February.

February

🚀Kickstarter Campaign

In February we will run a small kickstarter campaign with the goal of raising €500.

Backers of the Kickstarter will be able to get the game at a discounted price in addition to other pledge rewards which will be shared when the campaign begins.

We don't plan to increase the price of the game if any of the Kickstarter stretch goals are reached, so essentially it should be a way for us to give you more value for your money.

🎊Steam Next Fest (23nd Feb-2nd March)

In the end of February we have submitted the Demo to be featured as part of the coming Steam Next Fest. Hopefully this will give us a little boost of visibility for both the game itself and the Kickstarter campaign.

March

🛠️Post-Campaign Development

We have set off 1 month of finalizing development after the Kickstarter Campaign and Next Fest. This time will be used to work with any of the goals reached in the campaign. If we haven't been successful with the Kickstarter, we will spend the time on bugfixing, polish and playtesting.

🏁Release (End of March)

The game will release by the end of march with a base price of € 4.99 (Adjusted for regional differences). The game will come with an initial discount of € 1 meaning it will be priced at €3.99 at launch.

As we're making the game in our spare time beside full-time work and family time, these will take priority if any unforeseen circumstances come up during development. However the game is currently in a pretty good state, so even if other things come up in the next months, we believe that we can still reach the goal of releasing by the end of March

Thanks a ton for showing interest in our small game. We're very excited to get to release a new game on Steam again, and are looking forward to hear what you think about it!
