Sojo changes
Expect the first area of The Under, the sewers, having its initial release here in the next few weeks. New max level of 30, one new trait tier for all classes, 40~ new items, 15~ new quests, 7 new enemies, and 7 new friendly NPCs. Along with this update will come a large sweeping nerf to the isle pre raid tier 5 group content mentioned in the August dev blog this year. Among these changes are some much needed bug fixes, including the annoying ultra widescreen login/character stretching fix.
Back in February this year I talked about doing the first content release up to the next major HUB, but I have decided I would rather go area by area, where it makes sense, and spare myself the madness of testing and bug-fixing five tiers of content all at once. We also had our best success with patches and updates when we had players actively hammering content.
I appreciate the patience of everyone following this project. I still have a lot of serious IRL stuff going on but I am at least getting some time right now to get some work done on Sojo and hopefully with this first release we will see a more consistent flow of content coming for the next year.
