addedHappy New Year! ..ish, sorry, we're a bit behind on that. The year is 2020 and that's exciting because Soda Dungeon 2 comes out this year! Here's what we've finished up recently:
addedStory Mode All dimensions, quests, and character interactions have been taken care of. Bosses have more dialogue and more attack variety. We've also added little intro and ending cutscenes for the game, something that's a definite improvement from Soda Dungeon 1. We also tried our best to make new dimensions look more unique this time:
changedAll Characters Most characters and most skills were present for the final beta update but we finalized the tenth and final launch character.
addedCross-Platform File Transfers For the beta we introduced automated backups with your platform's cloud solution- ie, Steam Cloud, Google Drive, or iCloud. However, we've also brought back the ability to actually move the file between platforms with a transfer code. And it's easier this time! Once a file has been moved you don't need the code anymore, you just need to decide when to push/pull the file. We'll also be adding an automated backup process to this feature, though it will be less frequent.
changedTavern Customization You know how in Soda Dungeon 1 you could purchase multiple "Decor" upgrades, and the tavern would just look nicer? We took it a step farther this time. Now you can pick individual elements (tables, stools, floor, counter, etc) and spend gold/resources to customize them with very specific designs.
changed"This all sounds great! But when can I play the game?" Sometime this year, and sooner than Christmas. While a lot of the core game is complete, we still have a lot of loose ends to tie up. Localization, Achievements, general polish, Quality Assurance, website tweaks, a final audio pass, and more. This last big stretch is a tough one, but we're closer than we've ever been. Thank you for your unwavering support!

The Stables Ok, so we're still finalizing the pets. But! We thought they deserved a nicer place to sleep in this time. Hay never looked so cozy. I think.

Tavern Customization You know how in Soda Dungeon 1 you could purchase multiple "Decor" upgrades, and the tavern would just look nicer? We took it a step farther this time. Now you can pick individual elements (tables, stools, floor, counter, etc) and spend gold/resources to customize them with very specific designs.

Psst- If I show you one of the new pets, will you add us to your wishlist? https://store.steampowered.com/app/946050/Soda_Dungeon_2/

You just did/already have? Great! What should we name it?
