addedI've also seen a few people mention wanting to be able to remove utilities only, so I've also added a 4th hammer layer mode - now when you use "R" with a hammer it will cycle through 'wires', 'liquid pipes', 'item pipes' and the new 'utilities' option, which will only target scaffold/ladders/platforms/belts/springs etc
fixedI also found a slightly insidious bug that occurred when leaving the game open but unfocused, that would slowly drop performance until you returned focus, (and sometimes still not resolve on focus!) so that and related issues should now be resolved!
changedFinally, in the last patch I increased the free camera speed a decent amount, in this one i've also buffed player walk speed slightly, as well as block mining speed, so see how you get on with it all! You can see the rest of the changes below.

The weekend is nearly over, and it's been a busy one! Fun fact, there are now over 4000 of you, and using the achievement stats I can do some napkin math to work out that between all of you combined, you've now made over 500,000 dinners collectively!!! Starting to make a dent in these beasties' appetites that's for sure...

Thanks once again for all of you sending in your feedback and suggestions, I've been trying my best to keep on top of everything! If at any point you feel like I missed something you said, please do send it in again, there is only 1 of me so easy for me to misplace things. You can use the forums here, the form in-game or simply drop me an email - ell@tngineers.com

Couple things with this patch, starting with another pipe direction related change. You can already place pre-set directions with "R", and hold down / drag the wrench to change directions, but there's been a couple of you suggesting being able to overwrite a direction when using pre-set direction pipes, which sounds good to me, so now you can!

Hopefully should make it even easier to set the right directions you need, let me know! :)

Any issues, as always let me know, if not then tell me and I'll get back at it <3 If you're enjoying the game, don't forget to leave a review!!

1.2.0

  • You can now replace existing pipes with your pre-set direction pipes to overwrite their direction

  • Added a new hammer layer mode - utilities, for hammering only scaffold, platforms, ladders etc

  • Blue bottleneck flags are now only visible when the overlay is active

  • Player walk speed has been increased slightly

  • Block mining speed has been increased slightly

  • Void kills you slightly slower now

  • You can now copy/paste on gamepad without needing to open the blueprint first to paste

  • Example M-level beast hitboxes for delivery cannons so you can target the top point correctly

  • Fixed some caching issues while the game was unfocused causing frame loss on re-focus

  • Fixed 'Drop / Select' keybind not being saved on reload if changed

  • Fixed accented characters in keybinds using a larger sprite than needed

  • Fixed missing eggs from ingredient list for Kanda Booki and Gloomin OnionTM

  • Fixed being able to use tomato sauce to fry stuff (although that would be delicious probably)

  • Fixed 'change gamepad' button slowly moving controls off the screen into the void each press

If you have issues with the latest patch, you can revert to the last patch by going to Manage > Properties > Game Versions and using the "last_patch" branch. This branch will always have the last stable update.
