  • Gameplay
  • Maps
changedAs the whole world already knows, most people's lifestyles have changed. We now go out wearing masks, maintaining a distance from the people that surround us and we always make sure to sanitize before we interact with anyone or anything. However, some of us have chosen to stay at home, catch up on their series and play video games. Along with that, I had decided to make my first big title and release it on Steam for others to play and enjoy. In a way for myself, creating video games is just as fun as playing them.
addedSnack Tick started out as a Game Jam game, which helped set the foundation for the final product that you see today. It started out with just one character, a simple map design and just the hand to avoid. I believed that adding in more players to the scene, power up abilities and more map variety will create a more engaging experience. In turn, this allowed me to create some more dynamic levels with more content for others to dive into.
addedWhile it did take around 7 months to get the 1.00 version out of the gate, like with any product there is still work to be done and areas in improve in. 2 months after launch I have added in some quality of life changes, some bug fixes and most recently some new playable content. I plan on still updating and supporting Snack Tick for as long as I can.

You can watch this interview where I discuss Snack Tick's Development History:

While it did take around 7 months to get the 1.00 version out of the gate, like with any product there is still work to be done and areas in improve in. 2 months after launch I have added in some quality of life changes, some bug fixes and most recently some new playable content. With this, I would like to encourage you to Nominate Snack Tick for the Steam Awards. Personally I would vote for the "Sit Back and Relax" Category, since while the game itself can be relaxing, it has helped me as a developer to get through this year without breaking down with the pressures of this entire pandemic.

As usual, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me along the way and I look forward to hearing from all of you soon!

Thank you again, and Stay Safe! ;-)
