Slip & Skid changes
Hey everyone, it's been a week since the game came out!
I'm writing this short update to talk about what's coming up for the game.
First of all, a HUGE thank you for the kind words and constructive feedback.
It's surreal to see you playing the game and sharing it.
Since Wednesday, I've been reading all the messages, posts, and comments. The idea is to condense them into a roadmap, if possible.
Thank you very much for your patience, I'm doing my best! I'm developing the game solo, so I'm progressing at my own pace. My goal is to add content, fix bugs, and improve the game from now on.
I do have some tracks, obstacles, and game modifiers in the works.
Regarding the numerous requests to have the music on Steam as a DLC, I'm working on it! In the meantime, you can find it on YouTube and YouTube Music.
I'm also using this post because many of you have asked me to add a timer for obstacle placement and extra lives: It's already in the game!
Almost all rules can be changed by the host in the multiplayer lobby (to open it: X button on the controller, R on the keyboard). You can even activate game modifiers right from the start (like Moai statues, and peas on boosts), as well as immediatly change the track surface (I highly recommend Bobsleigh in magma). Save your presets in this menu to turn them into custom game modes you can load later!
This week has been incredible, thanks to everyone who played!
To give me feedback, find other people to play with, or just chat: feel free to use the Steam forums or the Discord server!
