Skyseeker 2: Worldbuilding and Monster Week

Hi there!

We're hard at work on pushing out the MVP 4B for Skyseeker. We'll be releasing this build for free to playtesters, and we want the build to be polished and clean. The build will include the first four areas of the game, a whole bunch of monsters, and three bells to ring.

That said, one aspect of this week was focused on worldbuilding. We want to create a World Worth Exploring, and that means taking these fantasties from our heads into reality.

Starstruck Caves, where the Gillshrooms spawn. These flying jellyfish inhabit the moist air of the caverns.

A small Skyseeker Hideout, with a giant Bombshroom acting as an elevator. Monsters in Skyseeker are not just for fighting! They place a role in everyday life of the adventurers.

The Valley of Lillies, a lush haven of life. Ruins of an old Lifewater aqueduct now supports a growing ecosystem of plants and monsters.

On the spotlight this week is the majestic Boomer Dog! These creatures roam the plains of the Grand Crossroads, and hunt with their detachable tails. They are fast with a high attack range, so be careful of kiting and go in for a quick melee strike.
