Skybreaker: Rebuild Protocol changes
New Tool ❄️ Frost The Frost tool has been added. Use it to freeze figures, coat buildings in ice, shut down Future City drones, and extinguish fires with cold air.
🧊 Frost Progression Added Frost now has its own upgrade path with four tiers:
Bitter Wind
Deep Freeze
Arctic Gale
Absolute Zero
Each upgrade makes Frost build up faster, making it more effective against figures, buildings, and drones.
New Achievements 🏆 Frost Achievements Added New Frost-related achievements have been added:
Cold Front, Unlock the Frost tool
Deep Freeze I, Fully freeze 10 figures
Deep Freeze II, Fully freeze 50 figures
Deep Freeze III, Fully freeze 200 figures
Steam Engine, Extinguish 250 fires with Frost
Figure Freezing 🧍 Figures Can Freeze Solid Figures can now build up frost over time until they fully freeze. Ice crystals also follow their body poses more accurately, so freezing looks better while figures are standing, limping, moving, falling, or being thrown around.
Structure Freezing 🏙️ Buildings Can Freeze Over Buildings can now be coated with a stronger and clearer frost effect. The ice coverage looks denser, more solid, and more natural across structures.
Frost Alternate Fire ❄️ Ice Ball Added Frost now has an alternate right-click attack called Ice Ball.
Hold right-click to charge it, then release to fire a fast ice projectile. When it hits, it bursts into a freezing wave that can freeze figures, coat structures, affect fires, and hit Future City drones.
Ice Ball also has its own upgrade tiers, making the charge stronger over time.
Future City Frost Effects 🤖 Robots and Drones Can Freeze Future City robots and drones now have their own Frost reactions.
Robots can shut down when fully frozen, then reboot after a short delay. Drones can lose thrust, sink toward the ground, build up ice on their body, and recover afterward.
Fire and Frost Interaction 🔥❄️ Frosted Buildings Resist Fire Frosted buildings now resist ignition. Fire has to melt through the ice before it can properly burn the structure, making Frost useful for slowing fire growth and blocking fire spread.
Frost Visual Polish 🧊 Better Frost Coverage Frost on buildings has been visually improved. Ice now looks denser, more solid, and more naturally attached to the structure instead of appearing as thin streaks.
Continued Frost contact can also make already-frozen areas look colder and more intense over time.
Upgrade UI Polish 🧰 Cleaner Upgrade Layout Upgrade sections have been cleaned up so tools with left-click and right-click actions are easier to understand. Frost and other tools now follow a clearer LMB/RMB upgrade layout where needed.
Arctic City Fix ❄️ Layer and Population Progression Fixed Fixed an issue where Arctic City layer and population progression was not working correctly.
Arctic City should now properly follow its intended progression flow, including city layers and population changes, thanks to 'NevermindThee' who’s reported the issue.
Message to the Community This update is focused on the new Frost tool and everything connected to freezing gameplay. Frost now has upgrades, achievements, deep interactions with figures, buildings, fire, and drones.
