Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire Celebrates its First Anniversary

Today marks one year since Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire took flight. Thank you to everyone who has joined Glenn Windwalker and his crew on their journey. To celebrate, we are releasing the Sky Oceans Original Soundtrack on Steam today, created especially for fans of Glenn and the gang.

Composed by Matías Castro Cancino, the soundtrack blends emotional themes with cinematic sweep and puts character front and centre. Matías has scored for film, animation and games since 2010, with credits including Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire and The Spirit of the Samurai. His music has featured in campaigns for The Book of Boba Fett, Moon Knight and Mortal Kombat 1, and he also releases sci-fi inspired ambient work as Darkest Dreams.

This anniversary album features new recordings that spotlight crew themes and fan favourites from across the adventure. The OST is priced at $5.00 with an extra 10% off for anyone who owns the game or picks up the Game + OST bundle. Regional pricing may vary.

A year of fixes and refinements

Over the last twelve months the team at Octeto Studios has treated updates like a mission. Listening to feedback, tuning systems and polishing details, they have rebuilt feel, clarity and balance so the game today is night and day from launch.

On PC the game now supports cloud saves and you will find refined tutorials, cleaner UI prompts, tidier cinematics and resolved progression snags.
