Thank you to everyone who played SKY DRILL as part of Steam's NextFest! It's been gratifying seeing
the bump in wishlist numbers ːsteamhappyː I hope everyone has been enjoying the demo! Speaking of which...
The demo will be going offline next week on Friday, March 20th! Following that, the full game will be
releasing exactly one week later, on March 27th!
In the meantime, I have a small patch today which adds some new content / bug fixes based on feedback from NextFest! The demo will still be available for another week, so check it out!
Before the demo goes offline, there will be one more content patch (1.6), and of course another huge patch before release.
Patch 1.5.3 Changelog
Added an experimental "choose three" shop screen at levels 85 and 185
Reaching these screens will allow you to earn and equip additional items during a run.
Added a new options dropdown for setting fullscreen /windowed/exclusive fullscreen.
Added two new playable balls: Apple and Ice Ball
To unlock these characters, see the two new badges in the progression menu.
Added a visible indicator for boost coins
Nerfed streaks so that they only add +20 pts per max streak, instead of +50

Fixed a bunch of bugs causing audio issues with music suddenly getting extremely loud
Added a new texture for the "gold order" item
Fixed "gold order" so that it properly places a free item at the 85th floor.
Added "max streaks" to the leaderboard
From now on, max streaks will be included as part of your leaderboard entry when uploading
