Greetings, Corsairs!
I hope you've been enjoying Corsair difficulty and Ironman mode. Has anyone beaten the ultimate challenge with both enabled? I haven't.
For me, it has been a busy time as I continue to improve Sky Cannoneer with some exciting new features for you all. Without further ado, here's a tentative roadmap for the next few months!
Upcoming features
Key rebinding: this is an important feature to get into the game, not only because most games should have it, but because it will support other features down the road
Gamepad support: for players who prefer to use a gamepad
First pass at localization: I'm starting with 3-4 languages and will build from there
Ongoing: balance, performance, and fixes
So, there you have it! Oh, wait, there's also this little item...
Local PvP is coming to Sky Cannoneer!
This will include the option for Steam Remote Play Together, which helps me deliver a first pass at online multiplayer in a fraction of the time it would otherwise take.
This mode is already a lot of fun, and I can't wait to hear what you think of it when it launches. The initial version will be similar to the base game, without techs or upgrades, but the current plan is to expand multiplayer with full support for all of those advanced gameplay features.
