Sisyphus Paradox changes
After a long development cycle, we’re proud to announce the full release of Sisyphus Paradox 1.0!
Besides a series of quality of life upgrades, the game launch introduces two major new systems that deepen strategy, expand build diversity, and add a different twist to each new run.
Artifacts have Dropped
Artifacts are powerful objects that can dramatically reshape your run. They can enhance ship weapons and survivability, generate income, and even affect the world around you. Common Artifacts can drop from Minibosses, while eliminating an Act Boss will guarantee you a Rare Artifact with powerful, build-defining effects. For a list of all available artifacts, hop over to the in-game Armory.
Introducing Weapon Eras
Weapons are now categorized into four distinct eras: Fusion, Holo, Stellar, and Quantum. Artifacts and events can greatly impact the behavior of all equipped weapons from a specific era, opening up wildly different build paths. Lean fully into a single Era, or experiment with unexpected combinations. No two runs are the same!
