At Thirteen37 , we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, polishing gameplay, refining mechanics, and doing our best to share soon what it truly feels like to experience Sip Or Die . And today, we want to show you one of the features we’ve been shaping. When you are playing a round of Sip or Die , You find yourself sitting at the table, facing others, knowing that when your turn comes you can choose to strike the player beside you. That tension is at the heart of Sip Or Die

🩸 Sip Or Die - Devlog 3

Survivors, the chamber is never silent. At Thirteen37, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, polishing gameplay, refining mechanics, and doing our best to share soon what it truly feels like to experience Sip Or Die. And today, we want to show you one of the features we’ve been shaping. When you are playing a round of Sip or Die, You find yourself sitting at the table, facing others, knowing that when your turn comes you can choose to strike the player beside you. That tension is at the heart of Sip Or Die

X‑Ray Gun Aiming

When aiming, skeletal joints light up with X marks, these are critical shot areas. Landing precise hits can dismember arms or legs, shifting the balance of combat at the table.

But precision is never easy. Your aim is tied to your heartbeat. The faster it races, the more your weapon sways, making every shot harder to control. Actions in the game raise your pulse, so every move adds intensity to the chamber.

Heart Rate BPM System

Your character’s heartbeat it’s driven by five hidden statuses that constantly shape your experience: Fear, Intoxication, Focus, Panic, and Confidence.

  • Fear rises during stressful or dangerous events. Too much Fear can spiral into Panic, spiking your BPM and making actions like gun aiming harder.

  • Intoxication occurs when you drink poison from a vial, clouding your state of mind and often leading to Fear or Panic, depending on the situation.

  • Focus builds when you make the right choices or perform well, steadying your character.

  • Confidence comes from staying ahead of others or holding more lives than everyone else, calming your BPM and keeping you in control.

  • Panic is the breaking point, when your BPM surges, weapon sway intensifies, and survival becomes far more difficult.

All of these statuses run in the background, constantly influencing your BPM. The BPM Monitor is accessible at all times, reminding you that the chamber is as much about control as it is about chance.

The Overseer's Satisfaction

Critical shots don’t just cripple your enemies, they please The Overseer. His satisfaction acts as a currency you can spend in certain areas of the game. For example, enough satisfaction could earn you hints when spinning the ritual wheel, giving you a dangerous edge in survival.

Behind the Chamber

We’re also sharing one of the first concept pieces of The Overseer. This early vision helped us define his role as the ever‑watchful presence judging your every move.
