Sinking Eternity changes
Hey everyone, I hope you had a great week!
Development progressed very well again this week. I am currently working on:
Adding more underwater creature variety
Fine-tuning underwater sea creature behavior
Doing a full pass on the game's main questline and side quests
Adding more unique/hidden areas that you can discover while exploring the different biomes
I also completed the work on the action/equipment UI bar and will try to include it in next week's demo build. This was a great suggestion a few players made since the demo launch back in October, and I think it will open up some very interesting gameplay features, like faster ways to activate defensive countermeasures.
I also got sidetracked a bit a few days ago to assemble a new development PC.
Let's just say I'm more skilled in software development than I am at building PCs haha, and I definitely lost a bit of my sanity trying to connect the wires to the motherboard :)
But seriously, this side quest was worth it, and the new PC compiles the game code much faster, so it will really help with development before and after the Early Access launch.
I also made a few minor changes to the demo (v0.8.10):
Reduced the number of blue corals (air sources) in the shallow water area
Moved some underwater plants around to improve the player's natural pathing through the demo
That's it for this week changelog! Thanks again for your support :)
