Major Update v0.1 for Singularity Survivors

Hello Survivors,

First, we want to extend our sincerest apologies for the delay in delivering this update. We appreciate your patience and support as we worked hard to bring this major update to life. We’re excited to finally share the huge changes and improvements we’ve made to Singularity Survivors! Here’s what’s new in v0.1:

Major Changes and Additions:

Fort Exodus Expansion: Fort Exodus has now grown into a much bigger and more fortified base in the mountains, offering more protection and opportunities for exploration.

New Main Menu Design: We've redesigned the main menu for a sleeker and more user-friendly experience.

Main Character Redesign: The look of the main character has been updated to better fit the game's atmosphere.

Added Cars: Explore the world faster with the new cars! Drive around, scavenge, and outrun mutants.

Fuel Stations: We've introduced fuel stations. Just hold SPACE to refuel your car and keep going.

Car Dashboard: Press V to view the car dashboard, which displays the amount of fuel left, so you know when it's time to stop by a fuel station.

Anomalies: Random portals now appear around the world, sending players to strange and dangerous places. Prepare for the unknown!

Base Droids: New droids in Fort Exodus will share information about the base and their origins, adding depth to your exploration.

New Missions: Dive into brand new missions that will challenge your survival and combat skills.

Improved Performance: The game’s overall performance has been enhanced for a smoother experience.

More Mutants: The world just got a lot more dangerous with an increased number of mutants to fight.

Hit Reactions for Mutants: Mutants now react to hits, giving combat a more realistic and immersive feel.

Dynamic Temperature System: Cold weather is back! Players will now need to build fires or find shelter to stay warm, as cold weather will affect your health and stamina.

Improved Shooting Mechanics: We've reworked the shooting mechanics, including better recoil control, spread adjustments, and camera offsets for a more satisfying experience.

Minor Bug Fixes and Server Stability: We’ve squashed several bugs to improve server stability and performance.

Fixed Player Name Display: Resolved an issue where player names wouldn’t display properly in the inventory/stats page [TAB].

Mission Saving Fix: Missions will now properly save when you leave the server.

World Map Fix: The world map should now display correctly for all players.

Crash Fixes for Older Hardware: Fixed an issue causing random crashes for players on older hardware.

Known Issues:

Player name tags may occasionally not appear correctly. If this happens, please disconnect and rejoin the server.

Some minor animations are still buggy. We’re aware of this and will fix them in the next patch.

Character Selection:

We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for the character selection feature. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen development challenges, we have to delay this feature. We’re working hard to bring it to you as soon as possible, and we’ll keep you updated on its progress.
