Dear Survivors,
First, we want to sincerely apologize for the recent silence and lack of updates. Developing Singularity Survivors has been a challenging journey, often led by just one person at a time. The process has been demanding, but the passion and determination to deliver a great experience have never wavered.
This quiet period wasn’t due to inactivity, far from it. Every moment has been spent rethinking, redesigning, and rebuilding the game to create something truly special. This isn’t just an update; it’s a massive overhaul, the result of countless hours of hard work and dedication.
If everything goes as planned, this update will be ready by the end of this month. It’s the most ambitious yet, packed with exciting features, enhanced mechanics, and improvements that will take Singularity Survivors to the next level. Thank you for your patience and support, it means everything.
Here’s what’s new so far, but trust us, this isn’t even everything:
Core Engine Upgrade • Upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.4: Experience stunning visuals, smoother performance, and cutting-edge technology that brings the world of Singularity Survivors to life.
Revamped Combat System Combat has been completely reimagined to make every encounter more thrilling: • Melee Combat Reimagined: The old, basic melee system is gone. In its place, we’ve introduced dynamic, impactful melee mechanics with fluid animations and varied attacks. • Improved Gunplay: Shooting has been rebuilt from the ground up, offering faster, more responsive, and satisfying gameplay. • New Abilities & Skill Tree Enhancements: Customize your survivor with powerful new abilities and an overhauled skill tree system.
New Mutant Classes The mutant roster grows more terrifying with two new additions: • Cyber Zombie: A horrifying fusion of metal and flesh, relentless in pursuit. • Demon Beast: A monstrous, towering adversary that will test your skills to the limit.
All-New Mission Types Keep every playthrough fresh with new mission types: • Zone Defense: Protect key locations from waves of enemies. • Swarm Attack: Survive relentless, chaotic hordes of mutants. • Roaming Horde: Face unpredictable, wandering threats for unique rewards.
Dynamic World Events The world of Singularity Survivors is now more alive and dangerous: • Hive Breaches: Engage in high-risk missions by venturing into mutant nests. • Roaming Horde Events: Survive massive roaming threats in dynamic locations.
Environmental Upgrades The game world has never looked better: • Improved Shadow Quality: Realistic, detailed shadows add depth to every scene. • Updated Weather Effects: Enjoy immersive storms, lighting, and environmental transitions.
Performance Improvements • Optimized object rendering to boost framerate. • Fixed invalid mesh references that caused crashes when leaving the game. • General framerate improvements for a smoother experience.
Bug Fixes • Resolved a rare crash when interacting with NPCs as the hosting player. • Fixed a performance drop caused by loot chests in certain areas.
Improved UI • Redesigned UI elements with a cleaner, more modern look. • Improved functionality for smoother navigation and usability.
This update represents a huge leap forward for Singularity Survivors, and we’re not done yet, there are still more surprises in the works, and we’ll reveal them soon.
Keep an eye out for a gameplay teaser coming in the next few weeks to see these incredible changes in action.
Once again, thank you for your patience and support during this time. Your enthusiasm drives us to make Singularity Survivors the best it can be. We can’t wait for you to experience everything we’ve been building.
