Repeated intro
Hello everyone,
What changed
- Gameplay
I want to share an important update regarding the Signal Bleed demo.
After reviewing the remaining work and evaluating the scope of the project, I have decided to delay the demo release beyond the originally planned window.
Development is progressing well, but I believe Signal Bleed deserves more time to reach the level of quality and atmosphere that I want players to experience during their first visit to Oasis 47/A.
At the same time, I have also decided to slightly change how the demo itself will be structured.
Instead of waiting until multiple sections of the game are complete, the initial public release will focus on the game's Prologue.
The Prologue serves as the beginning of Unit 734's journey inside Oasis 47/A and introduces players to the facility, ASR-9, daily life within the underground city, and the first signs that something may be terribly wrong beneath the surface of reality.
Following the release of the Prologue, the demo will continue to evolve through major content updates as development progresses. New sections corresponding to later parts of the game will be added over time, allowing players to follow the growth of Signal Bleed while helping shape the experience through feedback.
This approach allows me to get the game into your hands sooner while continuing to build the larger experience behind the scenes.
Signal Bleed has always been an ambitious project for a small independent studio, and I would rather take additional time than compromise on the quality, atmosphere, and storytelling that define the game.
Thank you for your patience, your support, your feedback, and every wishlist you've given the project so far. Your encouragement has played a huge role in keeping development moving forward.
I'll continue sharing progress updates as development advances and will announce a new release window as soon as I am confident it can be met.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
