changedWe were delighted to realise that Shroom and Gloom has racked up over 150 000 wishlists! It's absolutely surreal that so many awesome people are excited to play this game. Thanks to every single one of you that smashed that Wishlist button! Our now is to reach 205K wishlists by launch. It sounds impossible, but 150K would have sounded impossible to us a few months ago, so why not shoot for the stars? Wanna help us make that dream come true - show Shroom and Gloom to someone awesome that hasn't wishlisted it yet!
added1 month of game dev in 1 minute! January was another wonderful month of making this game together. To document these special days of making games together, we made a little montage of our adventures, condensing 1 month of game dev down to 1 minute. Soundtracked by Lazebream favourites Pixies, here's a quick glimpse of how much fun we're having in the process of making Shroom and Gloom. Wanna see more game dev goofs and behind the scenes sneak peeks? Follow us on Tiktok , Bluesky , Insta or Youtube ! Steam post image New Exploration... Exploration. Our main focus this year has been to explore a radical shake up to how exploration phases play in Shroom and Gloom. Exploration has always been a core part of the Shroom and Gloom experience, but we've never been happy with how it played. Hoping to create a stronger sense of discovery, interactivity and base-building, we completely reworked how exploration plays in the game. It's been a challenging process, but after a few weeks of hard work and tons of playtesting from our community, we're incredibly happy with how this new explore is taking shape! Thanks to all our friends and fans that played the beta! We can't wait to add this new explore into the public demo when we are full satisfied with it! Steam post image Free Snow Cones for Valentines Day! While waiting for Shroom and Gloom to evolve to it's final form, if you'd like a glimpse of our game punk roots, might we recommend grabbing the Snow Cones saga? Snow Cones 1 and Snow Cones 2 were a pair of our most well loved micro games from Team Lazerbeam's early years. Following our moto of "maximum impact in minimum playtime" these bite sized games existed only to deliver an anarchic blast of joy and a lasting sugar rush. To celebrate Valentines Day, both games have been discounted by 100%, so if you're in the mood for something sweet, you know what to do! Steam post imageThat's it for another dev log from us. Thanks for being awesome, and stay rad! Love, Team Lazerbeam Steam post image

Yo Shroomers! Team Lazerbeam here with another dev log from our mushroom infested studio! We've mostly had our heads down, working our butts off on Shroom and Gloom, but we do have some exciting news to share with you. Most importantly...
