Shred Off changes
WELCOME SHREDDERS!!!
Over the past 2 months, we have worked with all the feedback you guys have given us and improved the game for a better feel, gameplay and experience. We hope that you enjoy the game in the best form it has been since our Early Access release. Feel free to share your feedback in the Shred Off Discord Server.
Here’s what’s new in version 1.0
Patch Highlights:

New achievements have been added to the game.
A new tutorial Level has been added to the game.
New settings are available.
Our Discord server is now available!
New player model! Play as our poster girl, Icebergina DeShawn!
New score and ranking system.
In-game leaderboards have been added.

UPDATED
The difficulty of the game was adjusted. The goal was to make combat less forgiving. Enemies now hit the player more often and weapons received several balance changes.
Receiving a weapon you don’t want to use or don’t suit the situation was frustrating, so we added an option to drop or swap between collected pickups.
Menus received a visual update.
Levels have undergone lighting and colour grading changes.
The pixelated look of the game has been polished to be more readable and professional.
Gameplay Changes:
Out of Bounds
The player will be teleported back to the level when going out-of-bounds.
Combat
The player can now receive up to 2 weapon pickups.
The player can swap between collected pickups.
Weapon pickups can be dropped.
Tricks
Tricks are now activated upon tapping the button (previously you were able to hold it).
Boost on a successful trick will now happen more consistently when going off a ramp.
Balance Changes:
The difficulty of the game was too easy, so we are adjusting the damage of weapons and reducing the effective weapon lock-on range.
Revolver
Reload Speed: 1s => 1.6s.
Shoot delay: 0.20s => 0.25s
SMG
Ammo from 100 -> 50.
Mini-Gun
Ammo 500 -> 150.
Damage 17.5 -> 5.
Lightning
Ammo from 100 reduced to 50
Damage: 4 => 6
Health Orb
Application after pickup: 2.0 -> 1.5.
Other
Auto-Aim Range for all weapons reduced from 250000 to 6000 units.
Default camera sensitivity was increased when using the Mouse.
Combo Timer has been lowered: 7.0 -> 5.0
Points for “Air kills” have been lowered: 2.000 -> 1.500
Enemies
Accuracy was improved.

Bugfixes & QoL Changes:
QoL Changes:
UI now has a PS1 shader to better match the overall look of the game.
The camera angle restriction was reduced to give the player more control over the camera.
The Lightning Gun now can be fired even with no valid targets.
Additional audio feedback has been added.
Audio Mix was adjusted.
Movement and steering animation transitions have been improved.
Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash after restarting or switching levels.
Fixed a bug where you couldn’t hit the Snowmobile with the Revolver.
Fixed certain sounds not being affected by the low-health filter.
Fixed a bug that lowered the sniper’s accuracy.
