Welcome back players! ShotSurged is back in action & going global with 0.8! The hordes & gunsmoke update!
Let’s cover everything huge added!
The Public Release!
For over 3 months ShotSurged has been in closed beta testing for a select few, these people have made alot of great memories and impact on ShotSurged. I want to thank all the beta testers for not only contributing to the future of ShotSurged, but also helping out tremendously with bug finding. Now it’s time for the whole world to play and enjoy ShotSurged.
Zombies
0.8 brings a new classic & fun mode to the game, zombies! This mode is fairly straight forward and might seem very familiar to other classic horde survival games.
You jump in with just your pistol and your knife, kill some zombies to rack up enough points to hit the box, featuring every weapon from the multiplayer. Don’t got enough points? Don’t worry, buy a wall weapon! With every round brings more zombies which get faster, and stronger.
And if you need some extra fire power, look no further than bringing a friend or two. Zombies allows you to play with up to *8 players!*
Note:This mode will be launching in beta and will be updated regularly
Multiplayer: 3 Brand New Modes
Aside from zombies being one of the new bigger modes, the multiplayer side of ShotSurged delivers 3 brand new modes.
Gun Game
Each kill grants you a new weapon.
Kill Confirmed
Collect enemy tags and deny friendly tags from being captured.
Domination
Capture and hold points all across the map.
Emotes!
Sometimes you’ve just got to show off your flair in a way that isn’t an operator or calling card, so bust a move!
Starting with the new update, be sure to hit the shop to pickup some emotes and show your opponents your moves. Below is a breakdown on how much certain emotes will cost:
Emote (Eg:Dancing) - 500
Gesture (Eg:Saluting) - 200
This update brings 5 new emotes, all available in the shop.
Bot support for most modes!
In some cases maybe there aren’t alot of players playing ShotSurged, as an indie FPS it may be troubling sometimes to get a strong playerbase time to time. But no worries, with 0.8 bots can now play almost every game mode. Gone are the days of playing just TDM and FFA with bots, now you can play just about any mode with them! (Yes.. they do play for the objective xD)
Tac Sprinting
Some scenarios might have you pinned down, wanna stab out of the battlefield without lettin' em hit ya? Use tactical sprinting to your advantage. Be careful though, it's not infinite!

Fixed an issue where team scores weren’t counting when you killed a bot
Fixed an issue where the old protection effect would make your weapon seethrough and also mess with the muzzle flash
Fixed an issue where outlines weren’t working on players
Fixed an issue where the frontline wasn’t playing a reload sound
Fixed an issue where players using the M4A1 would have spectators clip into their bodies
Fixed an issue where you could not use/equip calling cards
Fixed an issue where emblems were very zoomed in

Known issues:
The harbringer 410s scope is a little off centered
Vaulting animations do not play
