I’m planning to make Shenanigans free on Steam for everyone early 2026. One of the main reasons for this step is that the Friend’s Pass and invite code system has not been working as reliably as I would have liked. Since I’m not actively developing updates anymore, leaving the game in that state did not feel fair to players.

I’m also planning to update the game to remove the faulty invite code system. Steam Lobbies and LAN Lobbies will remain available for players to connect and play together.

Making the game free means anyone can jump in without needing passes or extra steps. I hope this makes the experience smoother and more accessible. It feels like the better solution for where the game is right now.

Thank you to everyone who supported me and the game ♥️
