Playtests are now LIVE

Happy New Year, Exiles!

We would like to express our gratitude for all the requests we have received so far and are excited to announce that you can now play Shelter of Exiles:)

The first wave of Playtest access has been granted. You should receive an email from Steam regarding Playtest participation and be able to find the "Shelter of Exiles Playtest" app in your Steam library.

We wholeheartedly appreciate your engagement and hope that the adventure with the game's demo version will be an unforgettable experience for you.

As these are playtests, we would like to draw your attention to a few important matters:

• The game is currently in a very early stage of development. During the playtests, we provide you with the core combat system and loot and inventory for testing. Additional functionalities will be added in the following months.

• We count on you not only to share your impressions with us during the playtests but also to help us identify bugs and shortcomings so that we can make Shelter of Exiles a great game.

• Account saves in the playtests will reset in later versions of the game, so please don't get too attached to your characters. However, feel free to go wild!

Armed with this knowledge, head into the game now. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the tutorial missions to learn the ropes and then progressing through the next levels to test the combat system, its capabilities, and player progression.

Don't forget to share your valuable feedback using the form link below and send us save files. Recordings are also very welcome!

You can find your save files under your directory:

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\PixelTrapps

if you can't see your AppData folder then you need to:

• Open File Explorer from the taskbar.

• Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.

• Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.)

You can always move to the Feedback Form, Bug Report Form, and your save files location from the in-game menu (yellow, red, and the floppy disk button).
