addedSheepy: The PlushieWe have created our first plushie for Sheepy that is now available to buy at sheepy.io in limited quantities. We're very happy with how this turned out (after several iterations) and are hoping to create more poses this year :) For now you can order it directly through our dedicated Sheepy store. For the music lovers among you, we are in the middle of pressing a Sheepy: OST Vinyl run, so stay tuned.
addedSheepy: The MangaWriter/Producer Rob Thomas (Sheepy: A Short Adventure) and Manga Artist Omar Lozano (Dark Horse and Ravensburger (Lorcana) have been working on an original Manga series for Sheepy. The series follows his journey before, during and after the game in a new light. We will explore more of the lore and context behind the world Sheepy finds himself in that may ultimately provide more questions than answers...
addedSheepy: The MangaChapter 0.1 is now available to experience for premium subscribers on Patreon. This is an amazing opportunity to dive deeper into world of Sheepy and we cant wait to develop this series further.
changedSteam & Steamdeck OptimizationOnce the game has been optimized for Switch, we'll take the tech lessons from the port and apply them to our PC version/s and our ultimate goal of gaining an official Steamdeck compatible release in due course.
changedLanguages & LocalisationWe are in the process of developing a language framework for the written text in the game. For the moment we have limited translation to a handful of languages to test this out, and we will reach back out to those who have shown interest in localization when successful.

Here we are, one year on from release. A huge thank you to all the players, its been quite the journey for us as a first time developer and we've learned a lot within this time. Below is a list of updates ranging from in-game to beyond. We're only just getting started with the world Sheepy.

Next Game in Development

We're very excited announce that our next game project is now officially in development. Bringing together the same team as before, we are in early pre-production and can't wait to bring you more when the time is right.

Sheepy: The Manga

(Patreon & Webtoons) https://www.patreon.com/sheepymanga

Writer/Producer Rob Thomas (Sheepy: A Short Adventure) and Manga Artist Omar Lozano (Dark Horse and Ravensburger (Lorcana) have been working on an original Manga series for Sheepy. The series follows his journey before, during and after the game in a new light. We will explore more of the lore and context behind the world Sheepy finds himself in that may ultimately provide more questions than answers...

We have set up a Patreon account for exclusive access to the original manga chapters as we complete them, for those inclined to support through a subscription. The manga series will eventually be free on Webtoons as well.

Chapter 0.1 is now available to experience for premium subscribers on Patreon. This is an amazing opportunity to dive deeper into world of Sheepy and we cant wait to develop this series further.

Nintendo: Switch Port

We have teamed up with Seaven Studio in Paris and they are working on porting Sheepy to Nintendo Switch. We're aiming for a Q2 release on the platform so will keep you informed as and when!

Steam & Steamdeck Optimization

Once the game has been optimized for Switch, we'll take the tech lessons from the port and apply them to our PC version/s and our ultimate goal of gaining an official Steamdeck compatible release in due course.

Languages & Localisation

We are in the process of developing a language framework for the written text in the game. For the moment we have limited translation to a handful of languages to test this out, and we will reach back out to those who have shown interest in localization when successful.

That's it for the time being. We're only just getting started :)

Best,

Rob, Thomas & The Sheepy Dev Crew x . x
