What changed

0 fixes2 additions4 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Performance
  • UI and audio
  • Maps
changedThe bad news is this will be our last playtest for a while. We’ve got some great notes and feedback through our last series of playtests and it’s time for the devs to once again get back to work on all of our much-needed changes and improvements.
addedThe good news is that we have already begun working! We’re planning a major overhaul of gameplay, as we just don’t think the game is fun enough in its current state. The next time you will play Shattle it’ll be a completely new experience.
changedExperimenting with an FPS mode
changedCleaning up and polishing all UI/UX elements
addedCheck out some of our FPS experiments (as well as a new map preview) below!
changedWe are not done with playtests forever though, look for them to continue in the coming months. Stay tuned to our social channels including Discord to find out when the next ones will be. We’re also going to continue giving you all dev updates as we move forward.

A preview of some of the things we’re working on:

  • Redesigning the game mode from scratch

  • Improving the air raid system

  • Experimenting with an FPS mode

  • Cleaning up and polishing all UI/UX elements
