A nameless land, a cruel fate:

Today, we're going to talk a bit about the story and setting of Shattered Heaven!

Every ten years, four girls - each one from a different Land - are bound to manifest incredible powers that grant them the ability to overcome incredible, inhuman feats. These maidens gain the title of holy Vestal, and they are immediately tasked with fighting - and winning - the recurrent War of the Ascension. Without a choice, they are burdened with the weight of the world. Followed and protected by their Guardians, they will gather at the center of the known world, the Equinox Cathedral. Here resides the sole ruler of the land, the Divine Child Heliad which looks down on all of His subjects with a serene and benevolent spirit.

Surrounded by His servants, He is the living reincarnation of the divine that was once betrayed by humankind. Ever vigilant upon His throne, he looks down on all of His subjects with a serene and benevolent spirit. His is every Command - By His will, the four Vestals will face one perilous trials after the other, in which they will risk everything for the chance to save their people from extinction.

The Vestals are not alone in their quest for salvation. Merchants and craftspeople, sent by their tribes, populate the lower dwellings of the Cathedral, living together in an environment where the four peoples meet but never mingle, for too great is the distrust among them - a necessary evil, if they want to survive.

The world of Shattered Heaven is full of untold stories, red threads of Fate, and shocking encounters. The Wheel spins, bringing forth great events and changes. When the time comes, where will you stand?
