Record of Eihi is a five-part story prequel to Shadowveil: Legend of the Five Rings. Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing the stories here, leading up to the launch of Shadowveil on March 4.

n the upcoming Shadowveil: Legend of the Five Rings video game, you play as a Crab Clan samurai undertaking expeditions into the Shadowlands, a blighted realm full of demons, monsters, and undead. The rest of the clans of the Emerald Empire have only heard stories about the Shadowlands thanks to the Wall, a massive structure defended by the Crab that keeps the horrors of the Shadowlands from invading the empire.

In this five-part series by David Annandale, glimpse the terrors of the Shadowlands as recorded by a samurai known only as Eihi.
