What's New
NEW HUD CHANGES
Implemented a layout re-organization, including:
Hero portrait and game information moved to bottom left of screen
Spell cards now centered
Party bar anchored to only top left with health stats underneath
Lives anchored top right
35 New Runes
New runes added at every rarity level. Potential runes include:
"When you start your turn with at least 1 strength, Inflict Curse to the closest monster." Common Rune
"When you Charge, create a random mushroom in each tile you exit." Uncommon Rune
"When you have Decay, Heal 2 after each move." Rare Rune
"At the start of your turn, if no monster has Expose, Inflict Expose 1 on each monster." Epic Rune
"When you are attacked by a Provoked Monster, take no damage." Legendary Rune
Act 2 Boss Rework: The Dark and Bright Apostates
Mechanical Streamlining: Redesigned the encounter to reduce mechanical bloat and improve combat flow.
- Balance AdjustmentReduced overall difficulty to better align with the design philosophy introduced in the Revenant update, while maintaining a unique challenge for players.
Sand Biome Update
New Biome Identity: Decay and Displacement.
- Enemy IterationCactus and Mummy enemies have been redesigned to better reflect the new biome identity.
Updated Hazards: Biome hazards have been tuned to scale effectively, offering a significant challenge for Heroes in later Acts while adhering to the core theme.
Shrines
Cat Shrines, Wolf Shrines, and Monkey Shrines now have a random chance to appear in normal and hard rooms. Interact with each type of Shrine to discover their effects.
UI/UX
Skip button is now instantaneous, and no longer requires a confirmation click.
AoE reticles will now have a subtle VFX pulse every 8 seconds.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue with certain potions causing character models to stretch and distort.
Fixed an issue where pressing Tab when controlling multiple Heroes was not selecting them in the expected order.
Fixed an issue where the incorrect Rune VFX was appearing beneath the Revenant boss.
Fixed an issue where Heroes were remaining with the downed aura after reviving when the previous room was completed during the same round a Hero actor was defeated.
Fixed an issue where a bright light was obstructing gameplay on the 'Coast' biome.
Fixed an issue where Berserker's 2nd upgrade for Fling was not highlighting the correct action.
Fixed an issue where Pyromancer's name was not appearing in a single line in Hero Select screen.
