changedWith the introduction of hordes and an emphasis on group combat, we want all classes to have single-target and multi-target/AoE damage-dealing options. We've been revisiting the Hunter's capacity of dealing with multiple enemies and decided to rework how the bow-and-arrow works.
addedBefore, firing your bow would always shoot the same projectile no matter how long you drew the bow for - same speed, damage, everything. Now we've introduced the " Charged Shot " and " Power Shot " mechanics.
addedCharged Shot - The longer you draw your arrow, the more powerful the shot will be, up to a limit. Drawing increases projectile damage, speed and adds penetrative power to it, allowing the ranger to consistently deal with lined-up targets.
changedPower Shot - Upon charging a shot, releasing it at just the right time will shoot an even more powerful projectile. This will reward players with good mechanical dexterity and quick reflexes and will also help us balance the Hunter for multiple scenarios.
addedBoth mechanics may vary from bow to bow as we introduce new features to the Hunter, such as elemental arrows and quivers.
