Secrets of Magonia changes
Foreword
I am happy to finally announce another quite big upgrade to the game.
This upgrade includes mayor reworks of some maps which were not received that well by the community. I think these maps are now in a much better spot.
It also includes new home scenes, making your journey a bit more immersive.
Further there are new challenges, enemies, new special set items, skills and more stuff for you to explore.
In general with this update i tried to improve the game with feedback from the community, by for example changing some maps, adding skills, or locking some towers for a map, when challenging the "Holy crusade".
For the brave there is now also a "Lock out" mode, which locks 2 random towers for each map, forcing you to be more flexible with your playstyle.

Maps
Reworked Map "Murky Marsh"
Reworked Map "Forgotten Ruins"
Reworked Map "Dragons Ascent"
Reworked Map "Lone Hill"
Reworked means a major rework, with a total new paths and tower bases setup
Extended the Map "Wildboar Arena" from 10 waves to 16
Added a new lategame Arena Map with 16 waves, called "The Grand Ladder"
Worldmap is now zoomable and has some clouds over it
Homes
Added new homes, depending on the last played map

Canyon Home
Temple Home (Previous home)
Added a chapter popup, when progressing into a new part of the game
Added some new music
Item System
Unique items now drop less prior to level 30, increasing gradually
The inventory can now be increased to 10 slots, via additional quest rewards
Added unique greatsword which increases units areal damage
Tower type requirement on some items (e.g. Slow themed items, require Ice tower)
Added 4 new item sets, containing 4 items each. These sets are themed around the 16 T4 towers.
These items only drop after defeating the game in the normal world.
Towers
Changes to the lightning network. The wires now have a central orb, which hits nearby enemies.
Added a lockout system, which locks some towers under certain conditions for a map, for example when challenging the "Holy Crusade" or playing on "Lock out" mode.
Enemies
Some healers stop moving when healing a fighting ally, and get increased heal power in that stance
All damage increasing effects of enemies now also increase their heal power
Added some more properties to some bonfire enemies
Some healers can now decrease poison stacks on heal, or remove slow effects
Added a bonfire property which increases the damage of each tower which has another tower in proximity
Added a new challenge Option on each map, which spawns the "Holy crusade", adding extra waves to a map with new enemies, and locking 2 towers.
Skills & Spells
Added a spell which allows you to move a tower, and some upgrades with it
Added a trader which allows you to trade coal for items
Increased the max level of some spells and skills
Added some new skills which are unlocked via a quest
Balancing
Decreased gold gain in arena maps
Changes to the bonfire system
Cannon Tower explosion on kill nerfed
Plague bringer corpse explosion buffed
DoT Damage now deals half the damage to shields
Bounty Hunter quests now always have the challenge as quest goal
Decreased lifetime of emerald mines placed on the ground from 180 sec to 360 sec
Reduced dropchance of health pots
Decreased the start mana, mana reg and also increases per level
Reduced the reload time of frostsphere from 3.8 to 3.5, aoe 2.1 -> 2.2, child dmg 13 -> 14
Sporelord reload time from 3.3 to 3.5 and poison duration from 7.2 to 7
If a cannon tower attacks an air unit, the projectile now follows it
Some waves of a few maps were too hard, nerfed them (e.g. Magonia)
Nerfed aura items
Buffed items which cast a spell on projectile hit slightly
Nerfed shield of bonfire enemies
Increased gold cost of spores range upgrade 120 -> 150
When reforging or trashing an item, the chance to get coal now also depends on the item tier
If all items are set items and the reforged item would be epic, it will be a set item
The hit and poison damage of crows now also scales with improvements of its parent towers (items, skills)
relic drop chance increased
Misc
Music fades at the end and there is a break before the next song
Health and Shield bars now have dividers, giving an indication about the health amount
Option in the main menu to delete the relic unlock progress
In Hardcore mode if you quit game via alt F4, you will lose 5 HP, also the game quit and restart buttons are disabled
Lion upgrade now kill lioness and spawns lions
If the game is paused ingame or at home, the gametimer will also pause
Shield barriers on units can now stack
