Seasons of Solitude changes
You once had a place in the world. A home. A tribe. A life built on the unspoken trust that everyone had a role to play. No one could afford to be weak—because weakness, in a world like this, was the difference between survival and extinction.
Then, you failed.
Maybe it was a moment of hesitation. Maybe it was a choice that, in hindsight, seemed obvious. Maybe it was just bad luck. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that the elders looked at you, weighed the risk, and made their decision.
Exile.
Not a death sentence, but a test. If you can survive alone, endure the relentless land, and prove your strength, you may be allowed to return. But this land was not chosen at random. It is hostile, untamed, and merciless. It shifts with the seasons, testing not just your body, but your mind.
You will scrape by, at first. You will fight to find food, shelter, resources and a way forward. You will make mistakes, and some of them will cost you dearly. But you will learn. With time, you will adapt, mastering the land that once threatened to break you.
Then, when you finally stand on solid ground, when the wilderness no longer feels like a prison but a proving ground, the real question will emerge.
Was this ever about returning? Or have you become something else entirely?
The trial begins soon. Will you survive it?
