Over the last days hundreds of you stepped into the Exile’s first trials, sent feedback and even joined the Discord. That helped a lot more than you might think.

Based on that first wave, we focused on one main area:

Clearer tutorial and Echo role

Many of you liked the concepts, but the first run through the trial could feel wordy or unclear in places. We have gone through the tutorial and:

  • The tutorial objective flow has been tightened so it better matches how players actually play and learn the basics.

  • The Echo’s role is more direct and easier to read in play.

  • The old “combo” section has been removed from the tutorial and will return later in the full game as a more advanced mechanic.

Looking ahead

  • Seasons of Solitude is signed up for Steam Next Fest in February. The plan is to bring a stronger, cleaner version of this demo there.

Thanks again for walking these first trials with us and for all the feedback so far.
