Ahoy freebooters! We are back with another playtest! Lots of new stuff and improvements have been made and we would love to get your feedback on them.
New features
Strange new floating settlements have been spotted at sea. The local fishers grumble it might be the Shaped Folk that are at play
New quest types have been added
More variation in quests overall
Many more items and wares are in the game now for you to discover and trade
Bulletin board contain more quests and rumours so you have more choices on what you want to pursue
Red Tides look a lot more menacing now and and there are more world events
Crew reacts to your actions as a captain. So many opinions, much uh oh
Empty equipment slots now have an icon showing what can be put into them
Ship can now be seen behind objects with a fancy ghost like shader
Objects that intersect with the camera are now disabled while it happens
Camera has gotten a big overhaul, screenshake it baby!
UI has gotten a big overhaul
Tutorial has been reworked again, again, again
Bug fixes
Cursor being able to go out of bounds. Thanks for reporting it @pdgc
Fixed rendering issue when map is open on ultrawide monitors
You can now exit out of the pay crew screen so you can sell more stuff before paying the crew
Digit overflow on items in inventory. Thanks for reporting it @pdgc
