First of all, thank you all for playing Scribble Bots! It's been a great release, and I've really enjoyed seeing all the cool drawings people have made in the community and over discord. I'm so glad to hear that everyone's been having heaps of fun.
Unfortunately there are still a bunch of bugs in the game, I've been working hard to fix the game breaking and annoying ones, but I will be leaving some of the cool fun ones that I deem acceptable. If you find a bug, make sure to report it in the discord or via the google form (found in the games main menu).
I am going to continue adding content to Scribble Bots, so here is a bit of an idea of what I will be adding over the coming weeks/months
Short Term Goals
In the short term I plan on adding a bunch more content. There are already quite a few maps and powerups but there can definitely be a lot more, so that is what I will be looking to add. I will try updating the game every week or two with a few new pieces of content, such as:
New maps - candyland (hide and seek), pirate ship (battle), more to come
New powerups - spring, skates, with more cool ones planned
New gamemodes - capture the flag, collect the eggs, pve
I also have a couple of highly requested short term feature goals that I will be adding asap, including
controller support
temporary bot saving
adding bots to play with
dedicated singleplayer settings
steam leaderboards and achievements
There are also a whole lot of bugs that I will be fixing as I can as well.
Long Term Goals
Once I have added a sufficient amount of cool content, I will switch my focus onto longer term goals which include:
Steam workshop
Level editor
Hopefully I will have these longer term goals implemented in a couple of months.
Once again thanks everyone for playing the game, and supporting development!
