changedFirst of all, a massive thank you to everyone who has joined the community and wishlisted the game since the store page went live. The early support gives me a huge boost of motivation as a solo developer!
addedWhat’s New & Actively in Development:
addedRide Rooms & Scares: The actual core of the attraction is getting flesh on its bones! I have added new ride rooms and have been rigorously testing the animatronics and ride.
changedDeepening the Management: The business side of your horror empire is also taking shape. The End-of-Day Report screen, the Order screen, and the core Upgrade systems are now either fully implemented or in active development.
addedA Fresh Coat of Paint: If you take a look at the Steam page, you will notice a big visual update! The English page has been reworked with brand-new title cards and updated gameplay GIFs showing the current state of the game. (Updates for all other supported languages are following soon!). Alongside this, I am currently working ona brand-new teaser video. I'm also (still) awaiting the arrival of a new capsule art!

Development has been moving at a great pace over the last few weeks, and Scream Operator is slowly but surely coming to life. Here is what I have been working on:

What’s New & Actively in Development:

  • Ride Rooms & ScaresThe actual core of the attraction is getting flesh on its bones! I have added new ride rooms and have been rigorously testing the animatronics and ride.
  • Deepening the Management: The business side of your horror empire is also taking shape. The End-of-Day Report screen, the Order screen, and the core Upgrade systems are now either fully implemented or in active development.

  • A Fresh Coat of PaintIf you take a look at the Steam page, you will notice a big visual update! The English page has been reworked with brand-new title cards and updated gameplay GIFs showing the current state of the game. (Updates for all other supported languages are following soon!). Alongside this, I am currently working ona brand-new teaser video. I'm also (still) awaiting the arrival of a new capsule art!

The Road Ahead: The Next 1-2 Months For the upcoming period, my focus shifts completely to the "Guest Flow". This dark-ride would naturally be nothing without its visitors, so I am building out the areas outside the ride itself.

In the coming months, I will be working on the Outside Queue, Ticket Booths, the Lobby, Pre-show rooms, Merch stands, and the Staff you can hire to automate these systems. Lots of work to do!

Once these features are locked in and the mansion feels truly alive with guests, I will start working on the First Official Trailer!

I will be back soon with more updates!

Best, Japhet
