changedIn case you just found us: Scream Operator is a Haunted House Management Sim with a technical twist. Instead of a traditional god-mode view, you build and run your horror attraction directly from a dark, industrial dashboard. You'll need to balance scare scores, manage the power grid, and keep waiting times low, all while preventing the system from crashing down.
changedCurrent Development Status: Pre-Alpha I'm thrilled to share that we have officially passed the prototype stage! All the core engine systems are fully working. Right now, I am deep in the trenches focusing on:
changedThe Economy & Balance: Tuning the shop items and pricing.
changedUI/UX: Refining the operator dashboard so it feels incredibly immersive to use.
changedArt & Steam Capsule Rework: Defining the final in-game artworks and detailed game design. Also, a quick heads-up: I'm currently not entirely happy with the temporary Steam capsule art you see on the store page right now, so a complete rework of the main artwork is currently in the pipeline and coming up soon!
changedThe Road Ahead: Halloween Demo The ultimate goal is to get the game into your hands. I am currently working hard toward releasing a playable demo this fall, right in time for the Halloween season.

If you are reading this, you are one of the very first people to discover the game. Thank you so much for the early wishlists and support, it means the world to a solo indie developer!

I've just finished implementing the ''end-of-day-report'' which I believe looks really nice, especially in GIF format. I've also uploaded this GIF to the steam page. Steam post image

Join the Community I want to build this game alongside you. Whether you want to drop feedback on the UI, pitch a crazy idea for a scare-animatronic, or just follow the day-to-day development, I'd love to see you in the community:

I will be back soon with more updates! Best, Japhet
