As it turns out, UE5 seems to be a bit too demanding in terms of PC specs. It is very demanding, which means it won't really be that accessible for the majority of people. And we, as a team, obviously want to make this game as accessible to everyone as possible. Which means we will have to step-down from Unreal 5. I know this might upset a lot of people, but we really want this game to be very accessible. That's part of why we made the game free in the first place. However, it's honestly not that bad as all we're really losing here is a bit better graphics and a few editor tools. So it's really not that big of a deal anyway. Unreal 4 has everything we need to make this game, so for now we will stick with UE4.

We have been discussing this for a while, but in the end we figured this would be the best thing to do. Unreal 4 is perfectly fine for our vision of the game, it has all of the tools we need and it's very accessible to low-end PCs. So we're really not losing anything big here.

And that should be about it, yeah! As we said, this might upset some people, but really we're not losing much here. The game hasn't worsen a bit.

And by the way, we will probably be releasing a new video devlog soon, as well as some stuff related to our SCP Wiki articles and our ARMA 3 mission. So keep an eye on our Discord Server, as we post the most updates onto there.

Anyway, that should be it. Cya soon!
