Our 0.2.2 Update is here! Hello guys, we're back with a new update for Scorching Desert! In this update we've mainly focused on increased performance, bug fixes and some changes to gameplay.

addedHello guys,we're back with a new update for Scorching Desert! In this update we've mainly focused on increased performance, bug fixes and some changes to gameplay. We're very happy to anounce that we've been able to massively increase the performance of Scorching Desert. Additionally we've added some quality of life improvements and are currently working on some new Content and systems!
addedFeatures:changed night time brightness curve for better visibility - loading screen UI improvements - added new fighting / chase sound when player is hunted by animals - added coyote yelp when attacked - changed sandworm health to 350hp - added sandworm attack & get hit sounds - added sandworm roar sound - increased stamina regeneration by 100%
changedPerformance / Optimizations:optimized the way palms / trees load, no more dynamic materials pre-loading, massive performance increase - changed the way trees / palms are referenced / stored in save game files - replaced player armor viewing window with static UI Element to massively boost performance
fixedBugs / fixesfixed a bug, where bee hives could spawn in oasis / locations they weren't supposed to - removed bug, where tree stumps would show, even though the tree hadn't been cut yet - fixed arms snapping, while walking backwards-left or right with tool equipped - fixed audio sliders in settings displaying wrong values and positions - coyote running sound no longer playing while dead - fixed a bug where the sandworm didn't revceive any hit animations - fixed sandworm "already-emerged-state" not receiving any animations
