The version 1.0 update will be available on March 25th (Tomorrow).

The focus of this update is to add everything you've requested from Steam, like Steam Cards/Badges/Avatars, significant enemy balancing, and millions of performance improvements. We want version 1.0 to run at 60 FPS on most devices.

New Features:

  • Animated Avatars for Steam profiles!

  • Steam Cards

  • Steam Emotions

  • Steam Badges

  • Steam Insignias

  • Steam Backgrounds

  • 25~50% FPS Increase

  • Added option to switch between pixel and normal font

Balancing:

  • Enemies in "Nightpine Valley" had their damage reduced by 14%

  • Enemies in "Plaguelands" had their damage reduced by 22%

  • Enemies in "Leviathan's Lair" had their damage reduced by 28%

  • Enemies in "Scarlet Bridge" had their damage reduced by 32%

  • Enemies in "Scarlet Tower" had their damage reduced by 36%

  • Skeleton allies had their life reduced by 25%

Mechanics:

  • Contraband NPC, which appears in Endless Mode selling permanent buffs, now appears more frequently

Glyphs:

  • 2 New Glyphs added for Ninn

User Interface (UI):

  • Tooltip added for debuffs on the Bridge and Scarlet Tower.

  • Permanent buff display added to the "Shinning Coin" screen

  • New button to select enchantment gems on the rune screen.

  • Bestiary enemies are now revealed after eliminating the enemy.

Languages:

  • Native Simplified Chinese translation (Thanks Tracy)

  • (New languages coming soon)

General Fixes:

  • Audio when selecting interface objects now works correctly.

  • Asian text font numbers now work correctly.

  • Description of "Templar Shield" fixed

  • Ultimate key now appears correctly during gameplay

  • Banning 3 items no longer crashes the game

  • Talent "Death's Reckoning" now works correctly

  • Talent "Shatter Bones" now works correctly

  • CDR is now correctly limited to 70%

  • Talent "King of the Hill" limits to 10,000 HP correctly.

  • Limit of Vylat's "Royal Blood" talent now works correctly.

  • Necromancer mission now works correctly

  • Description of "Ivy Staff" fixed

  • Description of "Frost Dagger" fixed

  • Description of "Deep Orb" fixed

  • Description of "Faith Armor" fixed

  • Description of "Hammer of Justice" fixed

  • Description of "Bleeding" fixed

  • Description of "Living Bomb" fixed

  • Description of "Fading Formula" fixed

  • Description of "HP Regeneration" fixed

  • Glacial Staff now appears correctly in the arsenal

About Post 1.0

  • Now that we won't be in EA anymore, all new updates will be released first in the "Beta" system on Steam, so they can be properly tested before being released to everyone.

(Question 1) How many updates will there be for Scarlet Tower in 2024?

  • We'll release as many bug/ performance fix updates as necessary for the game to run without bugs and at 60 FPS on most devices.

(Question 2) Will there be announcements of new games from Pyxeralia in 2024? Yes, we will announce 2 new games in Q3 2024:

  • A Turn-based JRPG, inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics/Breath of Fire IV with some procedural generation and roguelike mechanics (Early Access).

  • An Action Platformer inspired by MegamanX/Castlevania (Simultaneous release v1.0 on Nintendo Switch and PC).
