removedSave/Load: Save/Load disabled during the tutorial to prevent sequence breaks and confusion.
changedBoarding improvements: Boarding Scallywags will target on deck treasure chests when they land, knocking them off the ship for end encounter rewards.
changedCritical Hits rebalanced: Now deal +1 hull damage instead of doubling damage.

Here’s what’s new in this update:

Gameplay & Systems

  • Save/LoadSave/Load disabled during the tutorial to prevent sequence breaks and confusion.
  • Boarding improvements: Boarding Scallywags will target on deck treasure chests when they land, knocking them off the ship for end encounter rewards.

  • Critical Hits rebalanced: Now deal +1 hull damage instead of doubling damage.

  • Travel healing costs reduced: It now takes a bit less food to heal injured Scallywags while travelling.

  • Ship movement overhaulGreatly improved side‑to‑side motion for both player and enemy ships.
  • Travel Map Polish: Ships now follow the curves of connecting paths more naturally.

  • Missives: Reward fix for the Rigging Reserves missive.

Visual & Camera Improvements

  • Water Pump: Water pump & splash VFX upgraded with better particle variety.

  • CameraCamera easing added to make transitions smoother and less jarring.
  • OutpostFixed floating outpost shopkeeper in the 3D scene.

UI/UX

  • Board button lockout: Can’t be pressed while already boarding.

  • Travel Button: Now lights up correctly when out of combat.

  • Store MenuRelic price tag overlap fixed in the store menu.
  • Inventory ScreenBack button added to the Inventory screen.
  • Menu Overlap: Fix for opening the inventory inside the store.

  • CargoSpoils in Cargo now update correctly when adjusted.

Audio

  • Audio Settings: A bunch of audio fixes to ensure all sounds properly respect volume settings.

Bug Fixes:

  • Crew Disappearing: Crew would disappear after fighting a fire.

  • TutorialAddressed a few spelling mistakes.
  • Boarding/InteractionsFixed a few edge cases.
