Battle
Addition of “No Checkpoints” Mode
A new “No Checkpoints” mode has been added for the following battles, allowing you to take them on with all mid-battle checkpoints disabled:
vs. Spiritual Golem
vs. Flamedor
vs. Deadwake
vs. Nanarat
Unlock Condition: Clear all four of the battles listed above.
In this mode, your clear time will be recorded, and you can earn a new Steam achievement upon your first clear.
New Steam Achievements
The following new Steam achievements have been added:
Evil Eye
Condition: Defeat the Spiritual Golem (No Checkpoints).
Ashen Knight
Condition: Defeat the Flamedor (No Checkpoints).
Admiral of the Lost Seas
Condition: Defeat the Deadwake (No Checkpoints).
The Sower
Condition: Defeat the Nanarat (No Checkpoints).
UI
Addition of Experience Gain Display
When a character gains experience, a progress display showing how close they are to the next level now appears on screen.
Addition of Reward Information Display
The battle selection screen now displays information about the rewards obtainable from each battle.
System
Support for Steam Cloud Saves
The game now supports Steam Cloud Saves.
Your save data will now be automatically backed up to the cloud, allowing you to continue your progress seamlessly across different devices.
Important: After updating, please launch the game once on the device you’ve been using so far to complete synchronization with the Steam Cloud.
Launching the game on a different device before this sync may cause an unintended save file to be uploaded to the cloud, potentially overwriting your existing progress.
Other Changes
Adjusted some visual effects used by the boss in “vs. Seraphim.”
Adjusted certain visual effects used by the boss in “vs. Ifrit” and “vs. Ifrit (Extreme).”
Adjusted the sound volume of certain effects used by the boss in “vs. Garuda” and “vs. Garuda (Extreme).”
Fixed an issue in “vs. Flamedor” where restarting the battle during a phase transition cutscene could cause the cutscene to not display properly on subsequent attempts.
